Andre makes future clear following Man Utd and Fulham links
Fluminense star Andre Trindade has openly expressed a desire to move to the Premier League.
The midfielder has been linked to Manchester United, Liverpool, and Fulham ahead of the January window and now he has come out to state that he desires a move to England.
Andre is closed to Fulham at the moment but there is still some time yet before he makes a decision.
The Cottagers’ chief executive Alistair Mackintosh flew to Brazil for talks last week over a £30million deal but it’s believed that this figure could be lowered.
What did Andre say about his future?
The 22-year-old spoke to reporter Ben Jacobs about his future, telling the reporter: "I watch the Premier League and it's a big dream to play there. I'm focused on finishing the season with Fluminense and realising our own dream of winning the Club World Cup. But my dream is clear, to be a Premier League player.
"Over the last five years, Manchester City are the best team in the world and everyone in Brazil stops to watch them play. It will be an incredible experience to play in the Club World Cup Final against them if they get through to it," he said.
Andre was in Fluminense's 2-0 win over Al Ahly of Egypt in the 2023 Fifa Club World Cup semi-final match on Monday - and the Brazil international could face Manchester City in the final if Pep Guardiola’s men managed to overcome Urawa Reds in the last four on Tuesday evening.
Man Utd’s interest in Andre was revealed by FootballTransfers last month and it’s thought that the side are hopeful of securing a deal if Casemiro does leave in the winter window.
